VP Global Shared Services Job in Columbus, Ohio US
PURPOSE:
Lead in-sourced and retained financial shared services organizations; provide executive leadership and oversight, drive transformation and change management; support strategic business objectives; and, ensure service levels provided are of high quality, fulfill customer requirements and maintain high user satisfaction levels.
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Responsible for managing in-sourced and retained organizations with a focus on accounting, cash management, database administration, fixed assets, general accounting, GL controls, intercompany accounts, statutory accounting and stewardship.
- Responsible for successful delivery of services against the defined Statement of Work (SOW) and service level metrics.
- Interfaces with business units to understand specific business requirements and collaborates with the service provider to ensure requirements are met.
- Produces demand forecast, develops support plans.
- Monitors and manages user satisfaction levels and take immediate actions as appropriate. Work directly with Service Provider’s Service Area Leads to identify, assess, mitigate risks.
- Oversees and drives change management in alignment with key strategic objectives
- First point of escalation for the business units.
- Ensures internal/external compliance to standard operating procedures.
- Manages periodic audits, process management level reporting, disaster recovery related activities.
- Responsible to keep internal external morale and performance high.
OTHER REQUIRED ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Support the successful implementation and on going first line management of the outsourcing initiative.
- Provide high level of service delivery.
- Stewards the relationship with the service provider to build a collaborative, improvement-oriented environment that fosters success.
- Oversees and achieves financial and budgetary targets for service delivery.

· Solid understanding of policies, procedures, regulations, etc. within the company as well as in the industry to ensure compliance as well as informed decision-making
· Ability to build strong relationships across multi-stakeholder groups in a complex, changing environment
