This is a highly profitable bank with an established brand name and a strong commitment to Asia. There is now an exciting opportunity for a dynamic finance professional to lead its finance operations team for the Singapore Wholesale Banking branch activities, based in Singapore.
Reporting to the Deputy General Manager and managing a team, you will have ownership of all financial, management, regulatory and tax reporting functions. You will ensure strong control environment by upholding compliance standards, internal controls and best practices. You will drive the new accounting system implementation and other ongoing projects for continuous improvements. You ensure prompt processing of trade finance and treasury transactions and participate, lead projects and implementations driven by Head office.
You are degree and CA/CPA qualified with at least 10 years of experience ideally gained in a major institutional bank. You have a good understanding of a broad understanding of financial instruments. With strong communication, presentation and leadership skills, you possess strong business acumen, thrive in a fast-paced environment and are commercial in your approach. Proficiency in written/oral Mandarin is critical to the role.
