Our client is a leading corporate and investment bank providing an extensive range of services and capital market products to various corporate and government institutions. As part of plans to build a Service Centre located in Singapore, our client has outlined the requirement for a VP level Head of Testing to join the organisation to assist the build out and ultimately run the Service Centre Testing Centre of Excellence.
Reporting to the Singapore Service Centre Head, the successful candidate would be expected to partner with and develop good relationships with wider technology business. The incumbent would be expected build a team in accordance to the business on boarding timelines, continuously review the organisation to ensure it is meeting the business needs, prove leadership and guidance to individuals and the team. Other responsibilities also include: ensuring the tech environment is fit for purpose, running projects, tailoring the STLC to deliver appropriate levels of quality.
To qualify, candidates must possess:
- IT / computer science degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in setting up and running software test centres in a Capital Markets environment
- Excellent knowledge of SDLC, STLC, application management lifecycle across a variety of applications and technologies
- Good knowledge of best practice methodologies such as ITIL, CMMI, PMBOK
- Excellent communication skills
