HR Systems and Projects team is responsible for providing advisory and project management services for the business organizations at Barclays Capital. The work is focused in two main areas: Project Management Office (PMO) services - delivery of process and applications enhancements and transformation projects, and Business Architecture services - where the team applies its expertise to reduce complexity and improve efficiency of operations.

Main Function

The Senior Project Manager is a key member of the Americas HR Systems and Project team. The team is responsible for providing PMO and HRIS services for Barclays Capital organization. HR IS Projects Delivery Services: accountable to project sponsors and business stakeholders for delivery of process and applications enhancements; responsible for successful delivery of process or technology transformation initiatives included in the organizations project portfolio

Main Duties

Manage HR projects portfolio based on SAP HR System of Record and integrated technologies:
o Directly responsible for successful delivery of process transformation and business technology projects o Responsible for change management and communication activities as part of project delivery o Responsible for creating and managing PMO documentation: Project Charter, Project Plan, Project Blueprint, Test Strategy, Communication Plan, Change Management Strategy, Governance Framework, and Support Framework o Responsible for estimate required project resources, collaborate with supporting teams for sourcing, and manage project teams activities o Create and execute stakeholders management strategies for assigned projects Assist business organizations with process analysis and optimization: o Assist business organizations with design and change management of business processes in their respective areas of operations o Analyze portfolio of business processes and seek areas for reducing complexity and improving efficiency o Assist with defining business processes KPI and create process performance reports based on these criteria Manage HR solutions blueprint portfolio: o Responsible for organizing and conducting workshop sessions for HR solutions o Responsible for the blueprint documentation of assigned support area o Responsible for keeping solutions blueprint current and aligned with Business Architecture standards o Provide solutions stakeholders with training in project management methods and tools o Assist and manage in development of educational and help content for solutions for assigned support area o Assist business clients and collaborate with procurement teams with vendors assessment and selection

Person Requirements

Basic Qualifications:
7+ PMO experience with project delivery using small and medium size teams7+ experience with HR shared services operations 7+ experience with project management involving enterprise HR applications, e.g. SAP, CSOD, Taleo Preferred Qualifications:Strong consulting skills and ability to see the big picture and to execute with an eye towards strategy Excellent communication skills and experience with plan and execution of communication strategy Excellent MS Office skills and advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Visio with experience using the tools for process design and change management Experienced with using Architecture methods and tools to design solution models with presented relationship of process, people, and technology Strong analytical skills applied in business, technology, and financial analyses Self reliant and self starter with ability to work independently and take leadership to move initiatives forward Experienced with driving design, sourcing, and delivery of Operational, Governance, and Support framework of HR solutions Experience with managing remote teams and conducting team activities using Web conference and teleconference tools
