VP Internal Audit – Corporate Banking recruitment
This tier one bank is looking for experienced Auditors with a background in Corporate Banking to join their friendly and experienced team.
You will be required to liaise with Management to ensure a full understanding of business strategy, plans, products, performance and risk-related issues, to drive risk assessments. This will also involve leading, performing or supporting the planning, fieldwork, and reporting of internal audit engagements to deliver agreed assurance objectives. Given the risk based nature of the role, you will also identify and escalate significant issues.
Candidate Requirements:
This is a senior level role and so at least 7-10 years of Audit experience is required, either Internal or External, although candidates must have in-depth experience of the corporate banking environment. It is essential to demonstrate a sound understanding of risk and an ability to creatively problem solve and think outside of the box. Excellent communication skills are a pre-requisite.
