VP Investment Banking- Mining and Metals team recruitment
As part of the expansion we are looking for a high calibre individual to join an Investment Banking team to work on MA, restructuring and ECM/DCM projects in the mining and metals sectors. Our client is a strong name in International Banking which is committed to further expansion of its already successful business in Australia. This company is highly regarded globally and has a high position in the MA league tables and has a long track record in the mining and metals sector.
To be a person of interest you will need to exhibit the following attributes:
• Strong record in tertiary education, your degree will include studies in accounting or finance
• Outstanding analytical talent
• Track record in thinking for yourself
• Understanding of what makes a business successful
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and make presentations to senior clients
• Experience of managing transactions and supervising junior colleagues.
You will need to have work experience gained in the following environments,
• Investment Banking - MA/ECM
• Corporate Finance practice perhaps in a large Chartered firm Transaction services or MA.
• A head office strategy/business analysis position with a mining company
