VP – IT Risk recruitment
As part of an ongoing global initiative this major financial services institution now has an opportunity for an experienced IT Risk Manager. This is a leadership role and will require a candidate with the capability to lead the IT Risk Function from both a strategic and operational perspective. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Information Technology risk management with understanding of the financial services regulatory landscape.
Description
- Provide leadership and direction for IT Risk and Security with man management accountability for a regional team.
- Take a lead role in formulating and delivering risk issue management procedures working closely with both local and Global Risk Security teams to isolate key risks.
- Enhance existing support services such as Audit execution support, regulatory inspection, and IT risk Issue Management.
Requirements
- Significant experience in Information Technology with strong background in IT Risk and Security control areas.
- Clear track record in leadership relating to technical information security issues within banking/financial services.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to successfully translate technology and security requirements into business terms
This is a role with in a fast paced and high pressure environment that will require the ability to work within demanding timelines and influence senior business and IT stakeholders at a global and regional level.
