My client is a top-tier investment bank. Over the next three months they are engaging in a major recruitment drive to grow their High Frequency Market-Making and Prime Services technology teams.

This is a unique opportunity to join a global development headquarters and be involved the design, architecture and development of a suite of brand new systems. The teams in HK will export their software globally, meaning that you are in the middle of the decision-making universe and as close to the action as you can get.

1.AVP / VP level – Java Developer  – building a Low latency Trading Execution component for the market-making business… Java expert with low latency experience – Nice to have KDB/Q, F#, Scala etc. This project was Green six months ago, so is still very new.

2. VP level – C# Developers – an aggressively expanding Equity Derivatives team – C# WPF and risk application development experience is a plus – URGENT (will consider exceptionally good AVP C# developers)

Prime Services, Stock Lending, Swaps – Java Developer (VP level), 3 hires

The build of a brand new trading and workflow platform for Prime Brokerage.

An exciting area to be in, as they are building out core platforms from Hong Kong. This high profile Java RAD role will sit on the desk with the business and manage projects from start to end. The candidates will all need to be very strong technically, have a strong business acumen and be able to manage projects from start to finish, not just develop the code. This role will essentially involve being a cross between a developer, a BA and a Project Lead, so although the role will not have any direct reports, my client is looking for a very rounded and capable candidate in this field. Technologies: Core Java, SWING, JBOSS, VBA
