VP Java expert needed for real-time system NYC Bank 170k recruitment
My client, a major investment bank in NYC, is looking for a senior level Java expert to build out the firm's advanced portfolio analytics tool, in its multi-asset class platform to deliver analytic solutions to clients. This is a business critical tool that is used by clients of the bank worldwide and needs to constantly be optimized and enhanced with the best technologies.
This senior level developer will be expected to work on architectural improvements to enhance the overall system experience for the users. Candidates for this position must have good analytical and problem-solving skills; experience in Java application development and software development life cycle. The candidate should possess a sound background in Multi-threading, Object Oriented Design, Refactoring and Unit Testing applications. The candidate should be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and have strong communication skills.
To qualify for this position you must have the following:
- 7 years of core java development
- Experience both developing and architecting a system
- 5 years of linux experience
- 3 years of weblogic experience
- The ability to optimize a system
- The ability to communicate clearly and love technology!
