VP Lead Business Analyst – Equities IPV recruitment
Our client, a leading global investment bank, currently seeks a VP Lead Business Analyst - Equities IPV, to be based in London
The VP Lead Business Analyst - Equities IPV will be part of the CFO Equities IPV team, and will be responsible for:
*The objective of the project is to implement a daily rather than monthly IPV process and to ensure the accuracy of all valuations and ensure adherence to the changing regulatory framework.
-Developing business requirements definition, documentation and sign off (current and future state) and process and data analysis.
-Leadership within own area of responsibility and the BA profession.
-Liaising with programme / project managers, client, functional analysts and developers to ensure the IT build is in line with the business requirements raised.
-Definition of testing requirements together and execution of user acceptance testing.
-Developing and fostering operational excellence across Finance - CTB, drawing on good and best practice internally and externally within the marketplace.
-Ensuring best practice quality assurance of project deliverables; understands works within agreed architectural process, data and organisational frameworks.
As such, the successful Business Analyst will have the following skills and experience:
-1st/2.1 from a top tier university (or equivalent).
-Accountancy qualified (desirable).
-Mathematics A-level grade A (desirable).
-A Prince 2 qualification or equivalent (desirable).
-Strong relevant product knowledge (possibly gained in either a Product Control or IPV line role).
-Project experience as a Senior BA or PM.
-Management experience and the ability to lead and coach other BAs.
-Expert level analytical and problem solving skills, able to show flexibility regarding problem solving.
-Advanced knowledge in MS Office products (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
