VP Legal Entity Controller recruitment
This Global Institutional Bank is also one of the worlds leading brokers with a full range of banking and investment product and services. Due to expansion of the finance function in India and expected further growth this Bank is hiring in the CFO group.
An opportunity exists for a Legal Entity Controller from the Banking/ Securities industry or someone from a Group Finance function or Big 4 Audit/Advisory to support the Head of Finance, CFO and Business heads offshore. Your remit will be to have responsibility for the integrity of financial statements and regulatory reporting recorded in a legal entity.
Your key responsibilities will include:-
• Managing the overall group consolidation process preparation or groups consolidated financial statements
• Statutory financial reporting and liaising with external auditors
• Research and provide recommendation on complex accounting and reporting issues
• Perform central accounting calculations and adjustments
• Monthly review of the PL and balance sheet and commentary
• Oversee and develop the monthly reporting process, driving enhancements
Key to this role will be your ability to work in a team including senior management, external auditors and regulators.
The successful candidate will be CA qualified, have previous legal entity control experience gained internationally or domestically within a securities/banking environment or currently be a Senior manager or Director from the Big 4 in India or globally with at least 8+ years post qualified experience. You will also have excellent written and communication skills.
