VP Level Java Developer Financial Company £65-70k recruitment
A leading global data provider for Tier 1 Investment Banks is looking to urgently hire a VP Level Java Developer to join their Bond Valuations team in London. You will be developing a real-time system that provides independent Bond pricing and data services to financial institutions to allow traders to trade effectively. You will be exposed to various business areas across different banks and will be expected to learn about these business areas in great depth, as you become familiar with the finance sector.
You will be building a Greenfield framework using Java distributed technology like Active MQ. Web technologies such as AJAX, Java Servlets and Tomcat are also useful, as well as Oracle. Solid experience in Core Java and mathematical problem solving is essential. Java Servlets and Tomcat is preferable. You will have an excellent academic background in a numerate discipline with ideally a 2:1/1st from a reputable University.
