The Retail Banking and Wealth Management (RBWM) Division caters to our retail banking customers. At the heart of the HSBC RBWM business are the two propositions Advance and Global Premier which are designed to meet the needs of the retail banking and mass affluent customer segments respectively.
The Advance and Global Premier proposition supports our goal to strengthen and deepen our relationship with our customers by providing them with dedicated relationship management, worldwide recognition, world-class service and rewards.
Principle Accountabilities
- You will be responsible for managing a team of High Networth Relationship Managers, ensuring excellent and consistent service delivery to the Bank’s international customers and upholding the Global Premier proposition and standards in Singapore (SGH).
- Working closely with key executives in SGH Retail Banking Wealth Management and other support departments, you will also define, develop and fulfill Global Premier service standards for the Bank’s international customers.
- Additionally, you will be required to develop relationships with executives supporting the Global Premier proposition to obtain and convey information necessary to achieve Group objectives, as defined by the Bank.
- You will also contribute to the achievement of High Networth Channel sales and revenue targets, ensuring the team achieves up-sell, cross-sell, and referral targets set. Ensuring that the team keeps abreast of developments within Retail Banking and financial markets; as well as safeguarding the Bank’s interests by ensuring compliance with regulatory and cross-border requirements will be necessary of you.
Skills/Attributes
- Degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a retail banking environment, preferably in international banking.
- CMFAS Modules 1, 5, 6, 8, 9 and CHI as well as CGI accreditation will be advantageous. Experience in managing a team of sales and/or service staff is highly desired.
- In-depth knowledge of general banking, financial products and services, as well as Bank systems and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to thrive in a sales and service environment will put you in good stead.
