VP,  Total Retirement Solutions Marketing Strategy 
This position reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer of the Retirement division of Prudential. The VP of Total Retirement Solutions (TRS) Marketing Strategy will be primarily responsible for marketing strategy, research and analytics oversight, and will run all programs for our record-keeping and administrative services business line for Retirement's core audiences: intermediaries- advisors, consultants and third parties, sponsors-prospective and existing, and participants-in plan and out of plan. This individual must be a data driven, experienced marketer who has a significant background working with multi-channel distribution models and supporting strategic relationships.
The successful candidate will work directly with TRS Operations and Client Relations Business Development (market-facing leaders,) and in collaboration with leaders in Institutional Investment Solutions and Pension Structured Solutions' business lines, as well as colleagues in Digital, MarComm, and Product Marketing strategies to provide robust customer experience roadmaps for each audience. They will also partner with Marketing Planning, Administration and Reporting, and Creative and Marketing Service leads to develop, execute and measure strategies.
 
This role spans across all Retirement's business lines in terms of value proposition messaging to market, with specific focus on the Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit, and Non-Qualified plan administration; including: Retirement Education Security (participant program strategy) First Impressions (pre sales support,) and Retirement Plan Strategies (consulting) functions.
  
The strategist must have a deep understanding of and experience in creating strategic marketing campaigns and programs based on audience needs and behaviors that produce growth for this type of business. A proven command of MROI focused, integrated marketing and multimedia delivery is required.
 
This position can be based in either Hartford, CT or Woodbridge, NJ.

Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in a marketing or related function. Proven track record in a highly regulated environment with a complex product and distribution network.
Financial services experience preferred; retirement industry experience considered a plus.
Proven, successful interaction with sales, intermediary relationship owners, and operations and service areas.
Fluent knowledge and deep understanding of market trends and consumer behavior (B2B B2C).
Senior-level staff management and development experience. Strong talent mindset.
Exceptional presentation and negotiation/influencing skills; strong executive presence.
Bachelors degree required; MBA strongly preferred.
High level marketing competency and business acumen.
Exceptional oral/written communication skills.
Expert collaborative, external focus and clear strategic competencies.
Series 6 26 required (can be earned within the first 120 and 180 days in role, respectively, if not possessed at hire).
