This globally distinguished bank provides private and institutional investment advisory to establishments, partnerships, institutions, governments, and individuals worldwide.
There is a need for a proven media relations professional to strategise and execute media relations strategy for the Taiwan market.
Through superior media relations, this role is responsible for projecting the multiple business, products and capabilities to diverse stakeholders to enhance understanding of bank’s suite of products and corporate reputation.
Responsibilities
- Create and drive the media relations strategy and positioning for the organization and the associated products ensuring all media relations are delivered on-message
- Work effectively with internal stakeholders, analysts and investors across the company’s businesses to align all communication output with the strategic direction of the business
- Develop a proactive partnership with journalists and publications across all new and traditional media channels covering Taiwan market facilitating all reactive and proactive media interviews
- Plan and execute the organizations event calendar driving all media events, seminars, conferences and roundtables
- Evaluate and track the organizations media relations activity and report back to appropriate business units
Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience in financial PR or communications within the financial services industry
- Located in Taiwan or willing to relocate to Taiwan
- An already established network of media contacts across Taiwan and the ability to build new relationships within the business, with journalists and within the global communications team
- Superior spoken and written command of English and Taiwanese
- Both an analytical and creative mind accompanied by an ability to integrate input from multiple stakeholders while maintaining project schedules
- A strong and demonstrable background in financial services PR working across multiple markets and/or channels
