VP of Business Development and Sales (Southwest) Job in Dallas, Texas US
Primary Responsibilities:
The Vice President of Sales Business Development is primarily responsible for generating revenue and developing new business through a consultative selling process. Vice Presidents independently develop and execute strategic plans for approaching and selling integrated health management solutions to an assigned prospect pool of Fortune 1000 companies and state employers. The VP is responsible for designing and selling solutions across a continuum of the industry's leading health products and services.
- Meet and build relationships with senior executives of large employers.
- Follow-up on prospect meetings and successfully negotiate and acquire new clients as well as expand our relationships with existing channel clients.
- Make presentations to employers, brokers, consultants and at industry functions to educate prospects on integrated health and productivity solutions.
- Establish strong working relationships with distribution channel partners and account managers.
- 5 to 10 years experience with selling or consulting on integrated health solutions
- Direct experience with health and wellness solutions, disease management, case management, health coaching, or behavioral health services is required
- Experience selling solutions to large, multi-faceted organizations
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build lasting client relationships
- A track record of initiative, creativity and motivation to surpass challenging performance goals
- Entrepreneurial drive, track record of initiative, personal responsibility, and ownership of work to meet monthly, quarterly and annual financial goals in a high growth organization
- Ability to manage sales process and forecast with precision
- Superior time management skills and strong attention to detail
- Strong analytics and real time judgment
- Maturity, poise, grace under pressure
- High energy, positive attitude and team orientation in all interactions
- Excellent presentation, writing, and negotiation skills, able to create and deliver convincing arguments covering a broad range of complex issues
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Background in healthcare, disease management, or healthcare consulting highly desirable
- BA/BS (advanced degree preferred)
- Willingness to travel (60-70% required)
