Equities OMS Tech Support Engineer Hands-On Manager

IT Investment Banking - Production Testing Group is looking for a production support manager CTE . The key responsibilities of the role are:
 

* Equity product line production support regional manager: FIX Client Connectivity, Low Latency, Dark Pool, Direct Execution, Position Management, etc*.
 

* Global OMS support functional manager.

The Principal Objectives of this position are:
* Leading a regional team that provides application support across Equities technology (front, middle and back office functions as well as other IT groups) and external clients.
* Leading a global functional team for the trading OMS application responsible for level 2 support, design, engineering and implementation.

The Principal Responsibilities of this position are:
- Provide human capital leadership and management of the regional staff, including acquisition, career guidance, skills attainment, on-going performance and measurement.
- Regional Mission Control Lead for Equities IT, including
- Incident management
* Represents Equities IT during any critical incident management event.
* Responsible for feeding back incident impact to the business line.
* Coordinates any technical recovery plans.
* Responsible for ensuring the right level of SME experience and leadership participation is on the incident management call.
* Responsible for ensuring the right level of business communication and management escalation has occurred both within Equities and other groups
- Problem management
* Confirm the actual impact for Equities .
* Root cause analysis of production incidents.
* Working with the appropriate development teams, Identify any follow up actions and track and report progress on action completion.
- Represent Equities IT in regional weekly incident review meetings at Front Office and business steering committees.
- Regional management of relationship with Technical Infrastructure Services (TIS)
- Regional business continuity management
- Ensure Equities has a lead for each business continuity test event and the right level of engagement both in the planning and execution stages.
- Ensure appropriate coverage for the subsequent business day.
- Ensure appropriate ongoing BCP planning and assessment in the region.
- Responsible for appropriate regional event co-ordination and planning.
- Regional service level reporting to business, management and PTG.

Weekend and holiday coverage sometimes required.
Minimal travel to other offices may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Essential:
* 4-Year College Degree (preferably in Computer Science, Electronics, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance or Economics)
* Equities knowledge along with extensive experience with Order Management Systems (OMS)
* Hands-on Level II Back-End Support (Able to roll up sleeves as well as manage team of 15
* Experience managing low latency Equities systems
* FIX/Client Connectivity exposure
* Front Office/Back Office OMS Support
