VP of Sales & Operations- Latin America Job in The Woodlands 77380, Texas US

Summary:

The VP of Sales Operations- Latin America will function as a key member of the Geo-Market leadership team for NPS.  This position will work collaboratively with peer geo-market managers, product line managers and the Sr. Vice President’s to achieve overall business unit objectives and implementation of the strategic growth strategy that strengthens NPS’ position as a global leader in artificial lift solutions and surface equipment and automation.  Specific responsibilities include:

·         Refine Execute Global Sales, Service and Operation strategy within the Latin America geo-market operations.

·         Lead and participate in direct sales efforts with key regional customers and prospects.

·         Assist in the development and execution of short-term sales and marketing programs to support business unit revenue and profit objectives.

·         Participate in the recruitment and development of an effective sales and operations team.

·         Recommend new service offerings along with market positioning and pricing strategies that produce the highest possible long-term financial returns and market share.

·         Implement changes to work processes that improve quality and service performance for the customer.

·         Recommend customer/geography specific pricing within established pricing guidelines.

·         Coordinate and manage customer interface process including project bids, quotes and customer delivery.

·         Communicate with Product line Managers and the Sr. VP of Geo-Market Operations on Customer and Agent Agreements.

·         Manage the Latin America operations at satellite facilities, including HSE, Supply Chain and Manufacturing.

·         Communicate with Product Line Managers and the Sr. VP of Geo-Market Operations to ensure efficient and consistent execution and alignment of Multi-National customer agreements.

Skills/Qualifications:                                                                                                       

·         Minimum of 7 to 10 years international sales experience in the oil and gas segment

·         Experience in developing and managing large international territories

·         Proficient in import and export documentation and processes

·         Travel extensively internationally, with some domestic travel

·         Speak, read and write English and Spanish fluently

·         Must have valid passport

·         Financial acumen to profitability grow and develop international business

·         Knowledge of logistic/freight forwarding industry and in developing countries

·         Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills

·         Strong listening, negotiating and prospecting skills

·         Presentation skills before small groups, large groups and executive management

·         Demonstrated ability to problem solve and overcoming obstacles

·         Proven track record of new market development and achievement of sales objectives

·         Ability to work with minimum supervision, highly motivated to meet specific sales goals; take projects from concept stage to fruition

·         Strong PC skills including MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

·         Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task

·         Solid understanding of financial accounting, profit/loss statements

·         Perform sales forecasting, account planning and other related sales tasks

·         Must be intuitive and analytical

Education:

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
