Role: 

With a commitment to continued growth, Magic Hat Consulting is looking to hire a VP of Sales to further expand our footprint in the Delaware Valley marketplace and beyond.  Magic Hat Consulting is looking for the right individual who can lead and grow a successful sales team in a fast paced, dynamic entrepreneurial environment. This position requires someone who has a proven track record in both selling IT Professional Services (solution sales) and successfully managing and growing a sales team. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

·         Lead and build a highly effective sales team

·         Create and drive effective marketing strategies that result in increased demand for Magic Hat services

·         Work closely with Senior Delivery Team members and Senior Consultants to continuously identify new opportunities in the market

·         Lead by example and generate revenue through direct selling efforts

·         Build new client relationships that result in long term, highly valuable, trusted client partnerships

·         Develop and mature relationships with existing Magic Hat clients

·         Actively support sales team by leading client meetings and creating client presentations

·         Provide effective coaching and mentoring of sales team specifically in solution oriented selling

·         Take ownership of responding to client RFIs and RFPs and creating SOWs

·         Own the branding and general marketing of Magic Hat Consulting

·         Work closely with entire Magic Hat Team to help build, grow and manage both Magic Hat Client and Consultant base

·         Committed to being highly knowledgeable within Business Process Improvement, Requirements       Management and Program Project Management Best Practices and Industry Trends

·         Create a training program for Magic Hat employees regarding our service offerings and delivery capabilities

·         Represent Magic Hat at Industry events and numerous networking events

·         Strategize with CEO and other Senior Management regarding Magic Hat Service Offerings and Delivery capabilities

·         Meet or exceed targeted revenue and profit goals

 

Required Skills:

 

·         All applicants must have a minimum of 10 years IT Industry experience in order to apply.

·         Natural leader and proven track record of success

·         Strong desire to play a leading role in a growing organization

·         Results oriented and highly driven

·         Successful track record of hiring and developing sales team

·         Ability to multi-task, problem-solve and manage client relationships

·         Experience preparing and presenting winning proposals

·         10+ years of Information Technology sales experience

·         5 + years of Sales Management Experience

·         Successfully forecasting and managing PL

·         Knowledge of Program Project Management and Business Process Analysis  

·         Proven successful sales record in both large and mid-market accounts

·         Proven ability to build long standing, valuable client relationships

·         Positive attitude, competitive nature and ability to thrive in a small, team oriented, entrepreneurial environment

·         Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills

·         “C” level contacts and strong presence
