VP of Sales – Western Canada recruitment
Responsibilities:
* Identify sales opportunity with brokers and advisors and ensure fund products are positioned properly.
* Create new and manage existing relationships to retain and increase total assets, revenues and profitability within the territory.
* Liaise with colleagues (eg. Portfolio Managers, Marketing etc.) and business partners to satisfy clients investment needs and increase awareness of products and services.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree. Preference given to CFA candidates, MBA graduates etc.
* 5+ years sales experience in the financial services industry.
* Designations demonstrating industry experience and knowledge preferred.
* In depth understanding of Canadian financial markets and mutual fund industry including products and service.
* Excellent computer skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
* Outstanding communication skills with the ability to simplify complicated financial concepts.
* Ability to position appropriate products in the context of current needs.
* IFIC Canadian Investment Funds Course and/or CSC.
