VP – Operational Risk Management – Private Banking recruitment
An international private bank with a strong regional presence is seeking an Operational Risk professional to join their team in Singapore. This position is VP level and reports to the Head of Operational Risk Management.
In this position you will be primarily required to conduct Audit Tracking/Operational Risk reviews and conduct periodic assessments of the bank to identify operational risks and propose solutions. Furthermore, you will be required review items for audit closure and ensure no audit points are unresolved.
Furthermore you will be given the opportunity to participate in reviews of processes, policies and procedures to identify ops risks and provide solutions, approval of new products, insurance assessments and develop risk indicators for departments plus operational risk related training programs.
To be successful in this position you must posses:
• At least 5 years of experience in external/ internal audit /controls within a Private Bank;
• Good product knowledge (PB) is essential;
• Strong academic background with a university degree;
• Able to work autonomous and as part of a team.
