VP-Operational Risk recruitment
REQUIREMENTS
- Assist in the roll out of Operational Risk Best Practice for Global Markets across all regions.
- Product Knowledge across all asset classes within the financial markets.
- You will support senior management in the identification, quantification and management of Operational Risks.
- Engage in change management initiatives, independent reviews and provide assurance that operational controls are effectively operated.
- The function works with senior business heads and business managers within the front office staff to ensure effective control is being carried out.
- In addition you will provide oversight of new products and processes.
- Other key relationships will involve other individuals and teams associated with internal controls.
EXPERIENCE
- At least 5 years’ experience within a risk role within Global Markets
- ACA qualified
- A good knowledge of the control environment surrounding Global Markets products and a general level of understanding of key Global Markets products
- Would suit someone who is keen to gain active involvement in developing a relatively new function and be able to provide active input and ideas of how best to embed an evolving methodology.
- Candidate would need excellent inter-personal, communication and influencing skills and confidence to deal with senior staff to sell the benefits of OR management.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
