VP, Organizational Development recruitment
PEAK6 Investments is currently looking for a Human Resources leader to provide HR leadership and partnership to our technology and trading teams. In this role, you will be responsible for working with the leadership teams in these businesses to drive and execute the HR strategies that support the business objectives including talent management, organizational effectiveness and employee engagement. In order to be successful in this role, you must be highly influential and demonstrate the ability to understand business priorities and develop strategies to meet the needs of the business.
Key Skills Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leadership to develop, implement and measure HR strategies that support the business objectives and ensure maximum employee engagement.
- Participate and contribute strategic planning sessions.
- Partner with management team and recruiting team to assess staffing needs from a human capital perspective and collaborate on strategies and programs that identify, attract, align and retain top talent.
- Oversee the development and administration of performance management and coach managers on how to create and maintain a work environment with high morale and productivity.
- Assess organization capabilities; identify competency and talent gaps, ensure development of people resources; support talent assessment and succession planning.
- Provide consulting support to management on matters of goals setting, policy development, employee relations, training and compensation strategy in support of achieving business objectives and growth
- Partner with managers to identify current or potential problem areas and develop strategies and action plans to solve problems or leverage opportunities.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the organization to provide coaching and counsel to senior leadership and employees at all levels of the organization.
- Assess training needs and work with the business to deliver on these needs.
- Develop metrics and reporting to assess the impact of HR programs and initiatives.
- Act as a driver and steward of the desired culture and work environment.
Qualifications:
- 7-10+ years of HR experience in a high-growth, fast-paced, and changing environment, financial services/trading industry experience preferred.
- A proven leader who is a strategist and practitioner with a good track record of successfully implementing people programs and initiatives.
- Ability to influence senior leadership is essential. Proven analytical ability.
- Ability to facilitate and coach business leaders and their leadership teams.
- Ability to problem solve, manage conflict and build relationships with people at all levels of an organization.
- Ability to use MS Office products proficiently.
