Bertie Memorial Hospital is a six-bed critical access hospital in Windsor, North Carolina, that provides surgical, emergency and diagnostic services, specialty clinics and primary care clinics. We are part of University Health Systems of Eastern Carolina, a regional health system serving 29 counties in eastern North Carolina and more than 1.4 million people. University Health Systems includes 10 hospitals, physician practices, home health, hospice, wellness centers and other health care services.
Bertie Memorial Hospital's primary care physician practice operates the Cashie Medical Center, and we have a telemedicine line with the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Bertie Memorial Hospital provides outstanding services and quality care to patients with a wide range of health needs. Our medical staff includes some of the finest primary care, internal medicine physicians and surgeons in the region. Patients at Bertie Memorial Hospital receive care in attractive, modern, private rooms. Our patient units include medical/surgical and 24-hour emergency care.
The VP of Patient Care Services is a senior member of the executive team for Bertie Memorial Hospital, reporting to the hospital President. This position has overall accountability for leading patient safety and quality at Bertie Memorial Hospital, and is responsible for the designing, organization, coordination and evaluation of Patient Care Services.
Basic Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina. Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and a Masters Degree in nursing, hospital administration or related field required. Minimum of seven years progressive management and administrative experience in a health care setting.
