Our client is a well-established Banking group with a strong presence in Asia and the group has continuously achieved solid financial results. As part of business expansion, an outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Banking Compliance professional to join the Hong Kong Team.
Reporting to the Head of Private Banking Compliance, you will be a senior member of the Hong Kong team supporting the Private Banking business on compliance matters and regulatory obligations. You will implement compliance policies, procedures and code of conduct, be responsible for compliance monitoring, managing regulatory problems from complaints, breaches or ethical standards. In addition, you will proactively provide compliance advisory and training to the business, enhance relationships with regulators, be involved in new products issuance and existing product reviews.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- A university degree
- Minimum 8 to 10 years relevant Compliance experience gained from Private Banks
- Strong knowledge of Hong Kong regulatory environment for Private Banking
- Good products knowledge in global markets and structured products
- Excellent communications skills with fluency in English
