VP Private Equity, Saudi Arabia recruitment
There are two VP positions open. A new fund has already raised seed capital and 3rd party funds and looking to deploy across KSA, UAE and Egypt. Strategy will involve taking a mixture of minority and majority stakes across various sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Deal origination, business development and relationship management for the private equity team in Saudi Arabia.
- Operate in a new build-up situation (that has a dynamic and ambitious work environment) and should be able to strongly interact with other members of the team on different aspects of the business.
- Acquire majority and minority stakes in various businesses with the aim of expanding the businesses and exiting
- Create partnership consortiums with non-Saudi industry players in various fields
- This is in addition to acquiring majority stakes in distressed assets
Requirements:
- Proven track record in the buy side of private equity transactions
- A willing self-starter with a solid record of business origination skills
- An ability to assess the commercial attractiveness and the feasibility of a private equity transaction is required according to the investment strategy of the private equity team
- Solid experience in modelling, investment memo writing and leading junior team members throughout the various stages of the deal process
- Contacts with High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI) in Saudi Arabia is a plus
