VP Product Management & Governance, Private Banking (Contract to Permanent) recruitment

- Monthly HK$90,000 - $120,000 depending on experience
Our client is a leading global Private Bank with an established presence in Asia. Due to expansion in the Asia region, it is about to start a large product management controls review which will be implemented across the bank.
As part of this new function, an excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Product Manager who will have responsibility for governance and oversight as well as the products management. You will also be involved in issue management for product approvals, product variations, product review and on-going documented evidence of product management decisions. In addition, you will assist in all phases of the life cycle including corporate strategy, market analysis, product strategy, design, manufacture, risk assessment, launch and distribution, maintenance and discontinuance. This will be a minimum 6 months contract with the opportunity for the role to lead into a permanent position. Candidates will only be considered with 1 month notice or less.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- Minimum of 8+ years' experience in product governance, product management / development role from a Wealth Management, Private Banking and / or Asset Management background
- In-depth knowledge of product lifecycle management, product design and manufacture, product pricing strategy and product financial management
- Knowledge of risk management and governance is a must
- Diverse investment products / asset classes knowledge
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Strong industry and regulatory awareness
- Proven ability to document technical information
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English
