VP – Program Management Consultant recruitment
This position incorporates management of project managers and business analysts, presiding over large scale programs and also includes product management for a large suite of IT applications.
The successful Program Management Consultant with be IT relationship manager for the specific function of the firm in which they preside.
Hold responsibility for compliance policies and procedures.
Other tasks include liaison with off shore partners, representation on monthly portfolio management boards and weekly status reporting, creation of product road maps, vendor management.
Recommend the use of emerging technology along with buy / build
Concurrent projects can number up to 10 so an ability to cross manage is very important.
The desired Program Management Consultant will have:
* Over 8 years experience in financial services, preferably capital markets, FX, derivatives, equity or securities lending.
* Over 4 years as a team manager of QA's, PM's, Analysts and developers.
* Bachelor degree.
* A strong background in FX, derivatives, equity and most notably, a strong understanding of securities compliance is necessary for this position.
