VP Programme Lead
This is a challenging role requiring the successful individual to partner, coordinate and drive progress across global operations functions, technology teams and business areas and is an excellent opportunity to join a market leading organisation and business area and play an active part in driving the long-term development of a first-class operating platform.
Responsibilities
Serve as a global programme manager for the Global Lending Strategy Change team, encompassing management of global change team resources and a book of work including a number of medium to large scale projects.
*Delegate deliverables effectively ensuring ops change, technology and business / subject matter expertise resources are leveraged effectively in delivery of initiatives.
*Manage key project risks and issues, escalating as required
*Produce impactful management reporting via Powerpoint
*Lead working group / management update briefings to VP, Director and MD levels.
*Work with key global stakeholders and teams to understand and document business needs priorities.
*Ensure stakeholder buy-in and signoff throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
People management experience within line or change management roles.
Experience leading change across major markets areas and operating teams (both tactical and strategic)
Direct experience of the various loan businesses, products and processes is advantageous though demonstrated strong business knowledge in broader fixed income or related asset classes applicable
Strong approach to risk management and awareness of control across BAU and change programmes
Experience of and familiarity with external market initiatives in any asset class either from a peer investment banking organisation or from an active buy-side market participant
Track-record of delivery in a significant change or line roles
Experience driving process reengineering and improvement
Understanding of commercial dynamics around businesses and change investment
