Job Summary Reporting to the MD you will be responsible for assisting with managing development projects from feasibility, preparing debt packages information memoranda, assisting in fund raising and structuring, identifying opportunities, assisting in the identification of potential investors business partners, confirming project commencement, assisting the project management department with developments through to sales and marketing stages of individual projects.

Job Qualifications

 Must speak, read and write both English and Arabic on a business proficiency level

 Strong familiarity with UAE mainly Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia and Middle East region

 Undergraduate degree from a top US or European university or college preferred

 Minimum of four years of proven experience in real estate acquisitions/development, real estate corporate finance/mergers and acquisitions, real estate structured lending within residential and mixed use property development projects. Maximum 9 years experience to fit in line with current team.

 Superior negotiation and communication skills familiarity with real estate legal documentation

 Strong quantitative, analytical and financial modeling skills

 Good command of Microsoft Office software suite including extensive capabilities in Excel, PowerPoint and Word 

  RICS Qualification would be Ideal

CFA / MBA an advantage

Major Job Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial analysis including transaction underwriting as well as administration of construction financing proceeds.

• Author internal and external correspondence, including transaction and property descriptions, offering memoranda for asset sales and capital raisings, and responses to Requests For Proposals

• Manage appropriate filings for UAE government processes and approval of various development related programs and projects 

• Conduct market assessments, site assessments, zoning assessments, and other due diligence related to site acquisition and development feasibility

 Assist in a broad range of development activities including site acquisition, financing, approvals, design and construction monitoring, project branding, sales and marketing formation and implementation Identifying establishing key business partnerships identifying opportunities

 Establishing feasibility and performance benchmarks; directing and assisting the Property Analyst with all feasibility studies

 Create capital / debt structures for projects

 Reviewing reporting on Investment performance

 Reviewing costs and expenses relating to new development and tracking these against budgets and forecasts 

 Establishing framework for how projects are to be undertaken and assessed 

 Conducting ongoing review of project procedures and practices to identify cost savings and improved performance efficiencies; reviewing project structures to determine best use of resources 

 Developing maintaining project tracking system to track all activities against critical dates milestones; Assessing information and scenarios for potential development strategies to determine the most profitable solution.
