VP, Regional AML / KYC Client Onboarding Quality Assurance, Corporate & Investment Bank recruitment

Our client is a leading Global Corporate Investment Bank with an established presence in Asia.  As part of their commitment in improving compliance and quality controls, a newly created regional team has been established to provide expertise knowledge and support on AML / KYC policies and strategy for the Client Onboarding processes.   Currently the bank is seeking an experienced Subject Matter Expert in AML / KYC to join and lead the regional team, based in Hong Kong.

Reporting to the Head of Quality Assurance and Controls for Corporate and Investment Banking, you will lead a regional team of Subject Matter Experts to support the Client Onboarding production on Policies, Strategies, Controls and Process Improvement.  You will be responsible for quality management of the production work, ensuring accurate and complete data quality as well as compliance adherence.   This is an independent function working with production and compliance teams, interact regularly with regulators and be involved in senior management discussions around strategy and direction of Client Onboarding and related practices.  As a regional leader, you will manage the AML / KYC activities for new businesses, provide knowledge and training on existing and new processes and policies, partner with the business to update and monitor KPIs for relevant processes, issues and identify areas for improvement.
