Our client is one of the world's largest Banking group operating across the globe with a full range of banking and investment services, satisfying the needs of a wide range of clients from individual to corporates. As part of their Asia growth in the Corporate Banking business, a Regional Leadership opportunity has arisen for an experienced Product Development professional to join and drive forward their portfolio of product initiatives and projects in Asia, based in Hong Kong.
Reporting to the Global and Regional Head of Product Group, you will lead and manage the Asia regional product development team responsible for designing, developing and launching products and services in the Corporate Banking business with particular focuses on e-banking / e-channels. Your team will work closely with Product Management and Change Management groups and be accountable for product definition, design, test and launch, leveraging global platforms and services where possible. As a leader, you will partner with the business to identify key requirements, competitive edge, client needs, servicing needs, and revenue opportunities. Your role will require strong project management skills as you will document business requirements, produce specifications, set deliverables, plan workflow, project time management and resource planning. Additionally, you will provide support for product launches, working on test scenarios, managing UAT and the test process, providing training support as required.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- Ideally a Master Degree holder
- Minimum 10+ years' experience gained from Corporate Banking in Product Development, Product Management and / or Implementation
- Consulting and / or Project Management experience focusing on Corporate Banking Products, Services and Systems
- Good knowledge of Corporate Banking Products and Services such as Lending, Trade Finance, Cash Management, Treasury Solutions, eCommerce / eBanking
- Familiarity to technology applicable to Corporate Banking Product and Services
- Asia regional experience is a MUST
- Strong team leadership and project management skills
- Excellent communications with fluency in English
