VP Regulatory Advisory – Basel – CRD – Regulatory Reporting – Leading Investment Bank recruitment
You will be responsible for the consistent and correct application of the capital requirement regulations in the banks legal entities with a strong focus on prevailing national and international credit and market risk regulation. The focus of this work will be in providing ad hoc advisory service – including RWA estimates - with regard to individual transactions, including securitisations to stakeholders in front office and support functions alike.
The role presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced candidate to further develop his/her strong grasp of capital principles within the banking environment
Provide regulatory advisory services to the business in relation to business models and in the structuring and restructuring of transactions in order to optimize regulatory capital consumption with a strong focus on securitisation business
Review daily and weekly capital reports and assess impact of key movements and link to performance metrics.
To understand the impacts of regulatory change and what this will mean for the division and its businesses.
To review business capital forecasts and ensure key items are consistent with other forecast data, in particular balance sheet and income. Prepare forecast information as required by Group, covering legal entity capital analysis and analysis of capital by risk type and currency.
To develop an appreciation of divisional capital benefit allocation models and to contribute to the understanding of divisional charges and allocations.
Responding to ad-hoc requests for information concerning capital data, risks and opportunities, and working with subject matter
Provide regulatory advisory services to businesses in relation to business models and in the structuring and restructuring of transactions in order to optimize capital consumption
Must possess solid knowledge of international regulatory requirements (CRD, Basel II) and in depth understanding of the proposed revision of the international regulatory framework (Basel III, CRD 3, CRD 4)
Would have a strong background within national and international regulatory reporting knowledge with a good understanding of internal and external reporting processes and currently working in a similar role at another leading Investment Bank, Consultancy or FSA
