VP Regulatory Reporting Change Lead

The position is within the Capital Reporting Regulatory department of Finance. The regulatory finance department is a high profile function, providing financial information to the PRA, FCA, Bank of England and the Office of National Statistics. The team within Regulatory Finance is split into three areas: the Capital Reporting group, the Financial Reporting group and the Liquidity.

The Regulatory function within the UK EMEA space is changing rapidly to accommodate both internal and external drivers of change. The change is driven internally through greater business engagement – new products and changes in upstream systems. External impacts are driven by UK and European Regulators and new releases and will include COREP in 2014

Responsibilities:

-Acting as a medium between the UK Reg Projects and Reporting teams to organise / implement change (Capital and Financial Reporting).
-As part of the CoRep implementation, carry out all transition activities, parallel runs, including comparing test results to expectations, and defining adjustments, manual workarounds, training needs, and documentation.
-Oversee the monitoring of all Capital and Financial source data feed remediation and Reg architecture issues from BAU, and ensure they are prioritised and allocated to an appropriate project or forum for resolution, and track progress.
-Through various project and IT releases, ensure all reporting impacted changes are tracked, documented, and BAU are trained and prepared for change.
-Liaise with the projects stakeholders (UK Reg projects, Project Managers, Technology) to ensure smooth and successful transition of changes into Reg BAU.
-Manage one other member of the UK Reg Strategic change team

Skills:

-Good working knowledge of the UK prudential regime
-Change experience delivering Basel / Regulatory Reporting / CRD4 / COREP
-Familiar with both Banking and Trading book investment products
-Part Qualified / Qualified Accountant desirable
