VP – Regulatory Reporting, Investment Bank recruitment
Our client, a global investment bannk is seeking an experienced team lead for a legal entity focused regulatory control team based in Singapore with responsibility for submission of regulatory returns and monitoring of capital adequacy ratios.
Your key responsibilities are:
- Capital Adequacy reporting and monitoring for a FSA regulated entity
- Monitoring of regulatory ratios and ensuring daily compliance with internal and regulatory limits
- Preparation review of Basel II regulatory calculations for several Asian trading entities
- Preparation of MIS reports such as legal entity profitability and capital forecasts; performing of analytical reviews, investigate and resolve unusual and/or significant fluctuations
Additional responsibilities of the role will involve:
- Review of team deliverables
- Training and development of staff
- Providing input on new product proposals and liaison with Regulatory Policy team with regards to regulatory treatment
- Liaison with the trading businesses Treasury with respect to management of RWA and usage of capital
- Ad hoc queries and investigations
- Involvement in various projects to build out infrastructure to support regulatory change (e.g. Basel III)
- Undertake project(s) to enhance strategic reporting infrastructure or develop tactical solutions where required
- Enhancement or development of control framework
You will hold a Degree or equivalent in Accounting / Finance with a strong academic background. You should have 8+ years post qualification experience in a top tier investment bank with prior regulatory reporting experience (UK FSA preferred). Ability to manage a team and interact with senior staff across multiple jurisdictions in multiple functions is key to your success in this role.
