Lead and manage a team of three to deliver internal and external requirements surrounding the management and reporting of liquidity risk for the EMEA entities.

The vast majority of the balance sheet the team covers is IB-focused. This will include preparing and presenting materials and leading discussions internally with Senior Treasury Management plus the UK Boards, UK ALCO’s and externally for the FSA as required.

THE ROLE INVOLVES:

−Drive the analysis of the liquidity position of the principal entities in EMEA leveraging data sources and tools available to the team plus interaction with the business and other internal clients as appropriate.

−Understand key sources and uses of liquidity for the EMEA business and entities and understand the implications on the local and global liquidity and funding position.

−Provide meaningful commentary to Senior Treasury and Regional Management globally and locally as appropriate on changes in the liquidity and funding positions of the EMEA entities.

−Responsibility for the production of the ILAAs for the three UK subsidiaries.

−Proactively manage the regulatory ratios for the three UK subsidiaries as shown in the EMR and the associated quantum and costs of the liquidity pools for the entities.

−Develop and execute management actions as appropriate including the provision of analysis to support ongoing discussions with regulators.

−Close interaction with the Global Treasury team and other departments / areas of the Bank including, but not limited to, Front Office, Operations and Financial Accounting.

−Ongoing staff development and motivation (appraisals etc).
