Position Requirements:
i) Experienced structured products trading strategist covering RMBS or CMBS; or as a portfolio manager in RMBS or CMBS
ii) Very quick intelligence
iii) Insightful intelligence into trading / profit generating opportunities
iv) Excellent communication skills
v) Assiduousness
vi) Ability to implement ideas / concepts
vii) Self-confidence - ability to work without supervision
viii) Conceptual thinker - ability to synthesize ideas / concepts and communicate effectively with seniors on the trading desk
ix) Interest in working in a trading platform and ability to work under pressure
x) 4-10 (or more) years experience
Strongly preferred: Experience as a trading strategist or PM at a preeminent platform – buy-side, investment bank, or hedge fund
Other:
A college degree is required, a top tier school is a plus; a graduate degree with a technical curriculum (computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, physics, quantitative finance), is strongly preferred.
