As one of the world’s leading financial institutions, our client provides first-class products and services to corporate, institutional and private players. With continued expansion of their India-based Global Operations Hub, they are keen to recruit senior-level professionals to augment their Operations team. As a part of this exercise, they are currently looking for a Vice President for their Equity Settlements business to be based in India.
Job Description
Reporting to the Director, you would be responsible for running the Cash Equity business for global clients. Managing a large team your main responsibilities will include:
- Looking after Broker Operations, Prime Brokerage Operations and Stock Lending Operations across US, EU and APAC markets.
- Strategy, risk management, new product/business initiative and ad-hoc projects targeting process/technology improvements.
- Extensively collaborate with Product Control, Front and Middle Office.
The Successful Applicant
You must be MBA/Bachelors with at least 10+ years of experience within a large investment bank. You must possess excellent knowledge of settlement operations with understanding of Equity products. You should have a detailed understanding of industry initiatives such as MTFs, broker matching and Netting. Furthermore, you must have the ability to face Senior Management and to develop effective solutions to support new business initiatives, market and regulatory changes. In addition to that, ability to lead, motivate and influence large teams is highly sought.
