VP Transaction Monitoring

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

*Conduct daily and monthly transaction monitoring to assure compliance with the BSA/AML/OFAC and other applicable rules and regulations.

*User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

*Conduct research using internal records and external sources to determine the legitimacy of the alerted activity and whether the transaction(s) are inline with normal, expected customer activity.

*Draft suspicious activity reports, when appropriate.

*Assist with the implementation of automated monitoring systems, when applicable, to include conducting user acceptance testing. 

*Assist in the review and revision of transaction monitoring procedures.

Education and Experience Required: 

*Minimum Bachelor's degree

*MUST HAVE at least 6-8 years experience working in AML Compliance

*MUST HAVE experience with automated transaction monitoring systems; Actimize (S.A.M.) is preferred but not essential

*Experience with Wholesale Banking transaction monitoring is highly desired

*Previous experience assisting with the implementation of an automated transaction monitoring system is a major plus

*Excellent Excel Skills (pivot tables, macros, etc.)

*Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills, ability to deal with pressure in a positive manner.

*Highly detail-oriented person with the ability to evaluate varying, complex transactions and make appropriate and timely decisions.

*ACAMS certification a plus.
