VP, UK Regional Treasury

Treasury is a corporate function whose ‘customers’ are the businesses of the bank, i.e. Markets, Corporate Finance, Private Banking, Asset Wealth Management. Treasury manages the capital, funding, liquidity and transfer pricing of the banks group of companies.

The VP Treasury candidate taking this important role will be responsible for a broad range of Treasury related tasks in the UK region including, but not limited to:

• Transaction approval (New Product Approval, Legal Entity Committee)

• Liquidity risk management (funding matrix/stress testing)

• Regulatory compliance (ICAAP/ILAA/DB Group reporting)

• Coordination of the UK Asset and Liability Committee (ALCO) materials

• Treasury analysis of strategic transactions and restructurings

• Daily compliance monitoring and breach investigation

• Local capital management (capital requests/dividend proposals)

The position requires the UK Regional Treasury VP to offer previous investment banking and related regulatory change experience with distinct leadership potential.

The UK Regional Treasury VP will involve liaising with front office business and other Finance / Risk Management areas and will not have a specific daily reporting output; rather it involves a combination of daily oversight, transaction flows and project work.
