VP/AVP Structured Trade and Commodity Finance

Full Job Description

Our client is a market leading arranger of structured finance for commodity processors, producers and traders, particularly in the syndicated loans space. In this role you will be responsible for working closely with senior business originators in all aspects of structured trade and commodity finance including commodity borrowing based, pre-export finance, pre-payment finance, countertrade, tolling and reserve based lending.
Responsibilities include;
- Involvement in: origination, structuring, pricing and execution of STCF transactions.
- Specific responsibility for the origination of CIS-Russian Market transactions (for the VP level role).
- As part of a deal team, take ownership of the execution of relevant transactions.
- Performing credit and risk analysis of transactions and the preparation of term sheets and credit applications.
- Co-ordination with various relevant internal and external agencies to get transaction completion, including legal and syndications-distribution.
- Monitoring of a existing portfolio of transactions.

You will have a strong background in Structured Trade and Commodity Finance. You will speak fluent English ( and Russian for the VP level role) and have a high standard of written skills.
The successful candidate will have:
- A strong track record from a leading investment or commercial bank within the Structured Trade and Commodity arena.
- Strong credit and analytical skills.
- An excellent awareness of investment and commercial banking products generally (cross selling).
- Experience of working in a deal team including origination, structuring and execution of a broad cross section of commodity finance transactions.
