VP/Director – Trade and Supply Chain Product Manager recruitment
Responsibilities
• To execute the Asia and Global Supply Chain Services strategy to expand the Supply Chain services capability in Asia to complement the Traditional and Structured Trade product suites as well as other Treasury Services products
• To establish the bank as one of the leading Supply Chain services provider in Asia Pacific
• To continually develop the products set and leverage other Products to create combined solutions and cross sell
• Drive exceptional performance in Supply Chain services in order to maximize revenues and profitability
• Work with operations and technology ensuring the optimal delivery platform
• Develop a culture of teamwork, working closely with the Trade Sales Specialists, Trade Advisory, Corporate Bankers and other Groups to aggressively grow the Supply Chain services product set while meeting customer needs
• Provide thought leadership and direction in the region
• Represent the firm in public forums.
Manage Activities
• Define the regional Supply Chain services product strategy and supporting offerings to achieve the business growth targets with Global and Regional Supply Chain services partners
• Manage the PL of the South Asia Supply Chain services product and services
• Develop cross sell proposition within Transaction Banking
• Lead engagement with external parties
• Create innovative Supply Chain services products and advices
• Ensure appropriate development of supporting risk and credit policies
• Ensure a disciplined approach to managing the risk in specific transactions
• Establish clear pricing framework to ensure profitability
• Ensure appropriate levels of expertise in Sales and Relationship Management to effectively introduce solutions to corporate customers regionally
• Ensure service delivery is a key part of the solution design
Experience:
• 8 to 15 years of experience in Trade Finance discipline or related function with additional experience in one or more of the following areas: Product Management, Trade Operations and Sales
• 10 - 15 years of relevant experience in a financial services preferably in Transaction banking domain
• Excellent leadership skills across multiple functional areas, including Product, Operations, Sales, Marketing and at Senior levels
• Ability to liaise with Legal, Compliance, Finance and other internal groups to deliver results
• Exceptional written, presentation and oral communication skills
