VP/Director – Credit Sales
Main Responsibilities include:
- Work closely with senior members of the team to develop and execute the sales strategy, partnering with the Corporate Coverage Sales Teams to leverage opportunity and drive the Credit agenda;
- Contribute to the development of the Credit / CDS product strategy, working closely with the Specialist Product Management team to understand the key drivers as well as sharing information and ensuring a close alignment with the sales teams’ focus;
- Build and develop key relationships both internally and with the leading buy-side customer base, establishing yourself as a ‘go to’ person for Credit enquiries and specialist information; educate others and provide presentations / demonstrations as necessary; as a mar
- Help cement the bank position as a market leader within the Credit / CDS trading markets, keeping up to date with market developments and competitor intelligence to maintain competitive advantage.
- Generate new business and grow relationships covering a defined territory and base of business
- Manage sales cycles using coordination and communication skills to involve sales specialists and Senior Relationship Manager where appropriate
Essential Skills / Experience:
- Demonstrate at least five years of experience in a fixed income credit sales role
- Credit and Credit Derivatives product expertise
- Good understanding of electronic trading/e-commerce
- Good network of contacts
- Ability to drive and execute a sales strategy
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Results focused

- Team-player; effective communicator
