VP/Director of Finance Job in Long Island City 10167, New York Us
A well-known womens Medical Center is currently looking for a Director of Finance to manage the centers financial resources. The person in this role will manage and coordinate fiscal affairs, design and implement ways to identify and control the income and expenditures within the organization, and consult and advise administrative officers with regards to methods of generating increased revenues. They will oversee billing, payroll, month end close and assist in creating the departments operating budget. The will supervise one person who is an Accounting clerk.
The perfect candidate will have a B.A. in Accounting with a minimum of 5 years of experience. They will have an understanding of accounting and third party billing/reporting. Healthcare facility or Medical Center/ Hospital experience is a MUST. They will ideally have experience with federal and local taxes, and tax reporting. Job is located in QUEENS but right next to Public Transportation.
