DescriptionOur client, an established manufacturer, is seeking a hard working, dependable workers for packaging, and shipping of goods. Great Working environment! THIS CLIENT IS SEEKING CANDIDATES THAT WANT CAREER GROWTH AND PROMOTION!
Duties include:
- work from written worksheets and verbal instructions to assemble, fill/seal containers and place on skids
- Operate filling, packing and weighing equipment
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move products and skids
- Detect and report defective materials to production foreman
- Work with foreman to coordinate and control packing and filling activities and keep him/her informed of work order status.
Requirements
At least 2yrs of shipping, packing or warehouse experience.
Must be reliable and dependable.
Able to read, write, and speak English.
Basic Math skills required
Some heavy lifting required up to 50 lbs. (60-100% of time)
Must be able to stand/walk, reach with hands to grasp and bend. (60-100% of time)
Must be able to stoop, kneel, or crouch 60% of time.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude required.
