Warehouse Supervisor - Pittsburgh Division
This position supervises unionized warehouse associates performing any or all of the following job duties to ensure damage-free merchandise is being selected accurately under the established production guidelines: receiving, order selection, sanitation, or loading of merchandise to maintain an orderly flow on the dock to the proper trailers.
Supervisors operate under general supervision and receive guidance on unusual or complex problems. Should be able to make quality decisions involving personnel assignments, merchandise handling, and building/equipment usage.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Four year degree in logistics, related field or equivalent experience.
- Three to five years distribution center supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong skills or ability in the areas of adaptability, communication, organizational, problem solving and PC proficiency (word/excel) are essential.
- Experience in performance improvement or performance management programs is preferred.
