Job Description
Supervise supply chain personnel in tasks associated with technician fulfillment, material storage, order picking, inventory management, and the shipping and receiving of CPE and materials including cross-dock operations. Responsible for supervising and maintaining secure inventory storage and control of CPE and materials into and out of the local facilities (AFCs and TFCs). Qualified candidates must be able to ensure effectiveness of internal controls and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Primary Responsibilities
Supervise and assist in cross-dock operations to efficiently route material and CPE to and from Primary Distribution Centers (PDCs) and technician fulfillment locations.
Supervise and assist in the processing of inbound receipts, picking and staging materials, scheduling and preparation of inventory for shipments and maintaining inventory and transportation in a safe and secure manner.
Ensure material and CPE are appropriately allocated across all local fulfillment and retail locations;
Address freight, transportation and fulfillment issues for resolution.
Oversee inventory / asset transactions to ensure accurate local inventory measurement; and technician fulfillment operations (quick pick and locker stocking, tackle box refills, etc.) as necessary and recommend process improvements.
Supervise resources and processes related to work flow, training, safety and quality assurance. Including performance management - setting group and employee goals, providing formal and informal feedback and coaching direct reports.
Collaborate with internal customers, peers and management in the supply chain fulfillment process.
Maintain accurate record keeping systems; Supervise and assist in the preparation and maintenance of information and correspondence and ensuring perpetual records are updated and backup documentation is available for audit purposes.
Prepare and maintain reports and information for management regarding inventory and fulfillment process.
Contributes to development of an operating plan, budget, and performance goals (revenue and/or expense) for the work group managed and the department; May manage elements/portions of a department or project budget
Will act in a working supervisor, providing support to team in day to day responsibilities as needed.
May be required to obtain certification to operate lift equipment and Cox delivery vehicles.
Required to obtain and maintain optimal working knowledge of asset and inventory management systems (i.e. ICOMS, Oracle, etc.) as it relates to performing duties and leading staff.
May be required to perform repetitive lifting of up to 50 pounds, and/or pushing or pulling of up to 100 pounds with pallet jack or other assistive equipment, repetitive bending, stooping and reaching.
Minimum Requirements
Required:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
3-5 years experience in related field required.
Must be 18 years of age or older
Eligibility to work in the United States
Must have valid local driver's license with clean DMV record to comply with DOT regulations
Must be able to perform repetitive lifting of up to 50 pounds, and/or pushing or pulling of up to 100 pounds with pallet jack or other assistive equipment, repetitive bending, stooping and reaching
Must successfully complete the Leadership Insight Inventory Assessment
Self-starter with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and accomplish goals
Excellent writing and oral communication skills
Preferred:
BS/BA or Associates degree in related discipline preferred.
3 5 years of previous leadership experience preferred.
Information analysis and reporting experience preferred.
Advanced experience with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Commercial drivers license preferred.
