Warehouse Technician
Kelly Services is working with a local Waterloo Warehouse in filling a long term temporary forklift assignment. This assignment is a first shift position 7:00am-4:00pm with some overtime. Salary is $13.50 hr. Under general supervision, loads and unloads product from trailers and containers. Pulls, tracks and verifies orders to be shipped. Performs inventory cycle count and reclaims obsolete product into inventory. Must have racking experience and three wheel experience. Essential Responsibilites: Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment in unloading and loading product from trucks and containers. Rotates product in stock to ensure First In/First out (FIFO) Pulls, labels, tracks, and certifies orders to be shipped against generated paperwork. Performs periodic inventory cycle count as required. Reclaims obsolete parts and changes them into usage inventory as appropriate. Repackages product to meet customer orders as required, performs pump calibration activities as needed, ensures ongoing cleanliness and maintenance of warehouse area and equipment. Performs routine general facility maintenance activities,. Ensures compliance with general organization-wide and department specific ISO/TS 16949 requirements. High School Diploma, previous related experience working with machinery, product shipping and handling experience preferred, Trained and licensed to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment. General mechanical aptitude. Able to lift upto 50-60# regularly, prolonged standing, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and moving to load and unload product. Must pass drug and background screens.
