Warehouse Help Delivery Drivers

 

Our newest Hank's Furniture location in Fort Smith is looking for exceptional delivery drivers and warehouse workers. They should be clean cut, well kempt, with an outgoing personality. The delivery drivers are the last contact the customer has with Hank's and because of that, they are a very important member of the Hank's Team. Workers and drivers should be in good physical condition, able to lift and move furniture. They should be self starters and able to work well with little supervision and able to keep up a fast pace while at the same time always being safe and courteous to those around them. Full time and part time positions available.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Drivers are responsible for the truck (cleanliness, P.M.'s, fueling, checking fluids, etc.)

·         Responsible for orderly paperwork (signatures, etc.)

·         Keeping up with tools and gear.

·         Reporting all problems to the store and their supervisor as they arise.

·         Assembling furniture and all aspects of in home delivery.

·         Maintaining proper appearance and keeping with the dress code.

·         Making calls to customer prior to delivery or pick up.

·         Proper loading and unloading of the truck. Making sure of proper tie down methods and that care is taken with pick up or returned items.

·         Protecting the customer's property at all times


REQUIREMENTS:

·         High school diploma or equivalent

·         Must be at least 21 years of age.

·         Must have a valid driver’s license.

·         Must have a clean driving record.

·         Must be able to pass the D.O.T. physical.

·         In good health and physically able move heavy objects in and out of tight spaces.

·         Some logistical experience and familiarity with area is a plus

·         Some delivery experience and operation of large box trucks needed.

·         Good communication skills
