Scheduler job in Cardiff

My Client, Utilities company in Cardiff are looking to appoint an administrator /scheduler to their busy office.

The role is based in St Mellons, Cardiff

£22,050 (pro rata)

37 hours per week, working over split shift patterns covering 7 days a week, from 7am to 10pm.

Finish March 2015 with the possibility of extension.

Our client is looking for a candidate who is immediately available to fill the position of waste scheduler until approximately March 2015.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, have an eye for detail, and be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills.
The suitable candidate will be expected to be able to provide regular and adhoc detailed analytical data in support of effective asset management and continuous improvement.
You will also be responsible for actively monitoring incoming feedback, raising of follow on tasks where required, to ensure continuity of workflow in a timely manner.

A proven track record in providing excellent customer service is essential and the ability to work to defined deadlines and prioritise workload in order to meet those deadlines is desirable.

Main duties:

.· Be enthusiastic, self-motivated, have an eye for detail, and be able to demonstrate excellent organizational skills
· Be responsible for prioritising, filtering and allocating both customer service activity (24/7 function), and environmentally sensitive incidents to the operational resource ensuring efficient use of resource, whilst ensuring full compliance to Service Level Agreements and regulatory requirements, including TMA
· Be responsible for actively monitoring incoming feedback, raising of follow on tasks where required to ensure continuity of workflow in a timely manner
· Be responsible for allocating planned and routine maintenance jobs to field operatives, ensuring time-scales are adhered to and full job instruction followed through, to include customer contact where required. Any risk of failing to meet programme to be escalated immediately
· Manage field operations resource efficiently, producing an effective schedule of work, minimising on travel / sleep and overtime by use of IT systems and processes
· You will follow escalation procedures, to ensure a high level of service is maintained to our customer’s at all times, in line with contact strategy, and use of IT systems
· Be able to provide regular and ad hoc detailed analytical data in support of effective asset management and continuous improvement
· Be flexible with regard to working patterns to meet the business needs, and participating in standby rota
· Develop and maintain strong working relationships with area work management teams and other areas of the business to ensure the company meets its performance targets
· Undertake delegated duties from the Customer Service Manager, and provide ad hoc support to other teams as and when required
· Present good quality data to satisfy internal and external audits, and to allow correct technical completion of orders where authorised
· Ensure all customer incidents within remit to technically complete, are contacted to ensure full resolution of incident prior to closure
· Produce MI as required using IT systems
· Handle street work notices from local authorities, allocating notifications to Network Technicians and pro actively monitoring feedback collating the return data, closing and classifying where applicable.
